WE HAVE ARRIVED! BOARDING THE BUS TO THE MUSEUM OF ARCHAEOLOGY, YVONNE AT THE RIGHT, OUR TOUR GUIDE. THE BUSSES HAVE BEEN VERY NICE, CLEAN, COMFORTABLE AND QUIET.

THE TRAFFIC IS A ZOO!
ONE OF THE MANY CERAMICS IN THE MUSEUM. THERE ARE A NUMBER OF FINE EXAMPLES
A BALCONY  ON THE WAY TO THE MUSEUM.
A VIEW OF LIMA.  THE PINK BUILDING WAS A PLANTATION MANSION BEFORE THE BUILDING OF LIMA.
A BUILDING DEDICATED TO CHARLIE CHAPLAIN
OUR GROUP FOCUSED ON THE STELLA AT THE ENTRY
WALTER STUDYING THE SETTINGS
WE LEFT FOR THE MUSEUM ABOUT 10 AM, SPENT TWO HOURS THERE THEN RETURNED TO THE HOLTEL.  WE ALL WENT TO LUNCH AT ZENO MANUE, AND HAD A VERY GOOD MEAL, (no one ordered guinea pig). THE BALANCE OF THE AFTERNOON WAS UNORGANIZED, THE GROUP DISPERSING ON VARIOUS PERSONAL MISSIONS.
A SMALL CONTINGENT, NOTHING VENTURED AND CERTAINLY NOTHING GAINED, WENT TO THE SHERATON FOR THE SHOW, A CULTURALLY DEPRIVED EXPERIENCE.  DESCRIBED BY THE REVIEWER AS A ¨CROSS BETWEEN THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW AND DEBBY DOES DALLAS¨

WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO A MUCH RICHER CULTURAL EXPERIENCE AWAY FROM THE CITY.
